“ Great food and service. Portions were large. The atmosphere was nice. Didn’t make reservations but were able to eat at the small high top tables on the beach. If you’re a bigger group, highly recommend making reservations for a Saturday night as it was crowded. ”

“ If I could, I'd have given them five more stars! The place is incredibly cozy, warm and beautifully decorated. We didn't have reservations, but the hosts were kind enough to give us a table anyway, although we arrived there early and the place really got crowded by the time we left, so I'd recommend making a reservation. Our table was by the window with a beautiful view of the nearby lake. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside, but I imagine it must be a nice experience to sit on the deck when it's nice and warm outside. The food was excellent. We ordered steak dots with pepper sauce and meatballs (actually, one giant meatball!) for main course and something called Steiger for dessert (ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate). Everything was delicious. Overall dining experience was the best I've had so far! Although it's a 90 minutes drive away from Amsterdam, we're planning on going back very soon. The area around there is beautiful too, so it might be nice to stay around for a night and explore ”
